Delete Your Account

Last updated: June 16, 2026

This page explains how to request deletion of your Mogg account and the personal data associated with it. The Mogg app is published by Defize Inc, a Delaware corporation (“Mogg,” “we,” “us”). Read this together with our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

How to Request Deletion

Mogg does not currently offer in app account deletion. To request that your Mogg account and its associated data be deleted, contact us by email and we will handle it for you:

  1. Email hello@playmogg.com from the email address on your Mogg account. If you signed in with Apple or Google and are not sure which address that is, include your Mogg username so we can locate your account.
  2. Use the subject line “Delete my account” and state in the message that you want your Mogg account and associated personal data deleted.
  3. We verify that the request comes from the account owner, delete the account, and email you to confirm when it is complete. We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. It forfeits any unredeemed points and unclaimed prizes, consistent with our Terms & Conditions.

What Is Deleted

When your account is deleted, we delete or de identify the personal data tied to it, including:

  • Account and profile: your login identifier, email address, display name, username, and referral code.
  • Referrals: the referral records where you invited others.
  • Notifications and devices: your push and live activity device tokens and your notification preferences.
  • Other app data: your onboarding progress and your live lobby chat activity, including messages and memberships.

Your gameplay and points records are handled differently: they are kept for a limited period for record keeping before being removed. See “What We Keep, and For How Long” below.

Some of these records also involve other people. A referral credits the person who invited you, and a safety report can be filed by or about another player. Where a record is shared in that way, we remove the information that identifies you instead of deleting the whole record, so the other person’s account and our safety and anti abuse records stay intact.

What We Keep, and For How Long

We retain a limited amount of information after deletion, only where we are required to or have a legitimate need, and we delete or de identify it when it is no longer needed:

  • Gameplay, points, and prize records: your entries, picks, points history, and prize claims are kept for the period needed for sweepstakes record keeping and dispute resolution, then deleted or de identified. You forfeit any unredeemed points and unclaimed prizes when your account is deleted, but these records are retained for that period.
  • Tax records: retained as required by law.
  • Fraud prevention: anti fraud and abuse signals may be retained, often in de identified form, to prevent repeat abuse.
  • Aggregated and de identified data: information that no longer identifies you, such as winner counts, pick distributions, and engagement statistics, is not personal data and may be retained.

This is consistent with the “Data Retention” section of our Privacy Policy.
